PathBinder
Overview
"PathBinder" window integrate the feature of PathBinder and can search terms in the literature database Medline.
Run PathBinder in "pathway preview" window
First the user go to "pathway preview" window and click "operate multiple nodes" menu. The "multiple nodes operation" window is pop up and the user can launch the PathBinder or merging entities here. There are two ways to list multiple entities. The first way is, goto "pathway preview" window again and load a pathway, then use mouse to select multiple nodes in the graph or drag a box to cover nodes in the graph. The selected entities will be displayed in "multiple nodes operation" window. Then the user go to the "multiple nodes operation" window again and select two records by click the check boxes in the "new" column, and then click "pathbinder" button. The program will launch the PathBinder program and display the abstract of literatures according to the selected entities' name and synonyms. Another way to get the entity list is, input the search string in "name" text fields, and click "search" button to search the entities in MetNetDB. The user can input multiple search string by separating them by double commas.
